Well.....she's painted! I ended up using Interlux paints. What a stink :) It looks good though.
Now for the turn-over.

Very nice!! Did you use the Interlux 2-part polys? That's what I used on my dinghy. It turned out great, but I doubt if I'll ever use them again. Too much smell and mess. I usually enjoy painting, but not with those chemicals.

Thanks for the words of encouragement! It's only taken 2.5 years to get to this point :)
I used 2 coats of Interlux Pre-Kote on the topsides followed by 2 coats of Interlux Brightsides white and the boot top strip was the red. They are really easy paints to work with as long as you've got a routine going. After the Pre-kote I pretty much had it down with the foam roller and tipping off with a foam brush. I tried other techniques, but this seemed to work the best for me. I was able to get the garage up to 68 degrees with a kerosene heater so I was nice and toasty.
The Interlux Micron paint is a totally different beast and stinks to all get-out! It's tough to roll or brush. I found that brushing on the first coat over bare wood, to get it into all the groves worked the best. The final two coats were rolled on with a foam roller. To my horror I found that any type of nap left lint as the paint is SO adhesive.
My plan is to now put bolts into the ceiling joists and use come-a-longs to lift it up, remove the strong-back, and enlist a few neighbors to help turn it. I've got a Triad trailer coming in a week so I'll put it on the trailer to finish the insides.
