Penultimate Plank

The penultimate plank has now been installed on Laura Ellen. Once the deck fittings have been updated/re-bedded the final plank on each side can be installed.

What are you trying to do there Steven, jinx the project?:eek::eek::eek::D

The plan is to launch in the spring, in order to find the water line and test the hull. It will then get pulled and get the final paint. The launch date is jinxed for sure now.:D

A wise boat owner (is that an oxymoron?) once told me the secret to the launching date jinx:

When someone asks you about a launch date you say:

"No earlier than ___________."

Seriously, it's the workaround to the jinx thing. ;)
