Eric,
Hate to anticipate the answer...I assume that since Dunn purchased Olsen, they are not carrying BO? Olsen's is where I have always bought it.

Hey Eric
I asked you the same question a while back. Seems to be a common problem around here. Anton at North Bay Boat Works was wondering the same. He is in Sausalito, and was getting his oak from Washington, but could only order once a year and it was catch as catch can.

Well, recently...
I got some from Edensaw a year ago.
The Pt. Townsend location.

I worked on a boat in Seattle and they got all their BO from Edensaw. But then again, that was 3 years ago.

Edensaw in Port Townsend gets it in a few times a year. I bought some last year that was very good.

Eric, Windsor Plywood sends to get some in with regularity. They also order just about anything you need with a 7 day turnaround time. I know we have a pair over here in Spokane, and I think there are some westside locations.
Correction: Bellingham location. I get all kinds of random stuff, similar to what Edensaw carries. BEAUTIFUL purpleheart comes outa that place.

Thanks all. It was a bit of a flyer. Bending Oak was about the first thing to go when Dunn bought Olsen, one of the yard guys figured anything else boat related to follow, I have not taken a look since last summer. I'll check with Edensaw, glad to hear somebody got some good stuff recently from them. Wanted to see what else came up on the radar. Several years ago there was a Windsor Plywood in Seattle - pretty sure they are gone. I'll keep Bellingham in mind. Of course it is the usual problem of not needing much lumber for the project.
Cheers,

I've used tons of Edensaws lately. A month and a half ago there was still a giant pile of real nice stuff up there.

For this little Atkin tender basically I need a 1 x 12 by 7 or 8', or portions thereof. I'll try Oak and Mahogany from Edensaw.
