Thank you kindly.
A story about birthday cakes:
I've never cared for them even from a young age, and have no idea why. Thirty three years ago today I finished my last college exam and effectively graduated. I was also at the end of a breakup with a long-term girlfriend and moving out of college to start work at a new job. Friends arranged a surprise birthday party and a friend of my ex's baked me a cake. It was a very nice party, especially since so many friends came to it to wish me well and goodbye. I'd briefly met Margaret (my current wife) a few months earlier and she came to the party as the guest of one of my roommates. I dutifully ate some cake (I had a tooth cavity so was avoiding sweets) and spent a good bit of the time talking to Margaret rather than the friend it turns out I was "supposed" to be attending to, according to my ex. I began to sense something was up during dinner in the college dining hall after the party, where many of us adjourned to. I was still talking to Margaret across the table (my roommate had gone to study) and the cake-baker was kind of interrupting, making it clear that Margaret should go back to wherever she'd come from. After dinner the ex asked me to stay and talk. She revealed her desire that I start spending time with the friend who baked the cake since she had expressed an interest. I thought it was kind of weird and said that I both was not drawn to her especially and thought she'd been pretty rude to a guest and visitor. I also thought it was weirdly inappropriate for the ex to attempt to 'hand me off' to someone, and told her so. She didn't cae for my thought s on the matter and it was the last time we talked for a long, long time.
I started seeing Margaret a few weeks later and by April we were serious about one another.
I prefer birthday pies anyway... and she makes good ones, so it's worked out great. :D

So that's what they look like under spinnaker! (I haven't set mine since the second day I owned it. It was a really ugly and mishapen sail.)
