I think they'd make better holders for a shelf in a bookcase than a diving board :eek:
Besides, what fool would jump OFF of Rita . Lew probably needs serious weaponry to repel the hoards of people trying to board. :D
Also, the seller's shipping logic leaves a bit to be desired ;)
If this item is sold out of the USA I will require buyer to put insurance an anything over 75.00. Also I will require the same of buyers inside the USA.

I've been MIA, traveling in southern California. I've spent three days locked away in meetings down here, and have three more to go. Saturday, Lindy gets here and we are going to the see some old friends (and old boats) in Long Beach and Newport Harbor. Till then, nose to the grindstone but I am sneaking a couple of minutes to read the board:)
I do fancy those. The Mermaid swimstep bracets are a hot item, and those look nice. They're going to go for some money, and yes darlin' Margo, they put 'em under the swimstep out here:eek: They're a rare and cherished fifties item. My swimstep brackets are simple (and not sexy) by comparison, and probably were made by Gordon, a former owner. I'd need five for my swimstep, and I've got a taste for them, but we rarely see them off the old boats, and like I said, they will fetch some $$.
Thanks for the link and the thought David. I'll be home Tuesday and back posting a storm. I also need to get back in touch with you Margo, but will do that next week when I'm at home.

traveling in southern California.Ahhh... Southern California in the middle of January, you sure do know how to spark envy with the Midwesterners and new Englanders, eh?;)

"They" put us up in the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach, a nice joint. But then "they" worked us for 15 hours a day. It was a professional conference linked to a trade show (starts today) and I haven't had much time to play, and won't until Saturday night. So, yeah, it's nice but all I did was come out into the sun a couple of times and blink in the daylight, then go back to listen to the suits and talking heads. Some of it was interesting, and a lot of it was....long.
But the weather's nice!
