I just realized, it's been just about one year, but it's the journey not the destination (I hope!)

An interesting week. A few days in Portland, Maine (but no chance to see anything interesting as I was doing lectures at Fairchild Semiconductor).

We took Mum and Sis (and three of her old buddies from Washington, DC environs) to see Macbeth Friday night. Talk about drained...

Well, to see and read about the actual progress on Phoenix, click here: http://home.fiam.net/eeharrow/harrowhtm/ballast.htm You'll have to go down that page a bit to get to the sparks. The good news is that it all worked.

SWMBO jr is now on the phone, telling us about her time in Costa Rica - wading thru water covering the road, with gators etc hanging out on either side. Walking across suspension bridge missing many planks... Guess it's good she called after. smile.gif

Thanks for the updates Ed. One of the few diminishing reasons to lurk around the Forum on a Monday morning. Can't believe it has been a year.

but it's the journey not the destination (I hope!)
Agree that the journey is important; the learning, the trials and errors, new skills, new friendships, etc.. Have you yet defined your destination?

Always good to see how she's coming along, Ed. Best to Finbar, Phoenix, and the ambient Harrow godesses. Fair winds,

Alan

Ed, where in Costa Rica? We are heading down for 10 days in a little more than a week. San Jose, then Samara (Pacific side). What was especially good to see?
