I've only seen it once but managed to guess correctly on one question at least. :D

Love that show.
I think "best episode ever" is a tie between the one where they made 3 different cars amphibious (sailor won of course), and the one where they went from Miami to New Orleans in 3 "quintessential Amercian vehicles", driving through Alabama with "Hilary for President" and "Man-love rules" painted down the side of the cars to see who got shot at first.

That episode where the Honda 200 hp outboard was mounted on the Toy(b)ota tailgate was priceless... and expensive when the truck turtled!

I've seen maybe 4 or 5 episodes. The one where they were going to plant their own soybeans to make biodiesel was interesting. They got these huge tractors. One of the guys couldn't even get his to move on his first try after over an hour.

The Stig was doing a lap in one of them (think it turned in over a 4 minute lap) and fell out of the seat in the corners. Always interesting to hear what "The Stig" is listening to for books on tape.:D

They had a "drag race" with them - one was dragging a series of cars and vans from their various shows (Including the sailing one), one was dragging their production office (no wheels) and one was dragging a 747.

The other good one was where they made their own limos.

I lost a lot of respect for that show when one of them was injured driving a 300+mph capable jet car on a track with no appropriate retaining walls. WTF were they thinking!!!

That's Hammond - considered expendable in the services of entertainment.

To save those of us who've never heard of this the agony of wondering...

Appears to be a group of certifiables doing weird things to innocent and unsuspecting motorized equipment.

I enjoyed the show, but they always gave it the worst possible air times here; usually at 4 AM. I don't think it's even on air anymore here in Seattle. It was impossible to be a fan, one had to catch it as a result
of having had insomnia or the like.

I can't imagine it being very popular in the US , they bagged the Ford F100 as the worst possible vehicle ! :D

So it sounds like they know their cars !

Yes, part of the show in entertainingly asinine, but they have a segment where they get people to drive a closed track in a regular family car to see who can post the best time. One of the best times was posted by Ellen MacArthur.

The shows, sometimes in parts, can be found on Utube.
My favorite is when they tried to kill the Toyota diesel pickup. It would not die. Even after being placed on top of a high-rise that was imploded. (And this was after letting it wash around in the ocean awhile, setting it on fire, dropping a caravan ontop of it, and otherwise abusing the old truck.
