I'm considering building a 9'-6" nutshell pram as a tender. Is the boat stable and will it carry 2 adults and two children? Also how well does it handle under sail or oars?

IMHO, two adults and two kids is a bit of a load for a nutshell.

I use the 9.5 Nutshell to carry two adults, two kids and a big dog. It's okay for getting to and from shore, but you won't win any races with the boat loaded down like that.
