canadian surveyors?

I'm trying to find a directory for Canadian, specifically B.C. marine surveyors. Even more specific, I would like to check out the possibilities of learning the trade.

Surely there must be schooling or apprenticeships or surveyors needing enthusiastic goffers that want to get into the business.

Any ideas or input would really be appreciated.

By the way nothing comes up on the search engines.
