That is quite a picture - and quite a story.

Why do journalists feel compelled to add their own bit
The Brown Trout (Salmo trutta) belongs to the Salmonidae family which includes the Atlantic salmon.
It is a medium sized fish, growing to 20 kg or more in some localities although in many smaller rivers a mature weight of 1 kg (2 lb) or less is common.
I've known men go a whole lifetime and never catch a brownie above 4 lbs.
I'm reminded of the review of a great pianist's performance which ended:
He was observed to play with equal facility on both the white and the black keys...
It is the Daily Mail, I was going to comment on your choice of paper, but refrained. However, now that you're expecting journalistic excellence, I thought I'd point out the obvious.
On the same page there's a coy (intended) naked artist, a poll on whether American or British women are better groomed and of course news of Kylie Minogue.

It is the Daily Mail, ....
Warning - really weak fishing/poetry joke coming.
I've never seen a nibble in the Daily Express.
Could be a youtube opportunity there only seems to be this awful version (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OidwGmmfYGE) on there.

I any decent brown trout fisheries existed near home, I might be persuaded to give up smallie fishing for a while.
Maybe.
But I doubt it...
