Drift boat November 12

Wanted to share with you guys.

I finished rough cutting the bottom tonight and will screw and glue tomorrow.

The ribs were a lot of fun once I figured out the trick to getting the angles. The #2 and #6 are a little out of place, but that was better than having an unfair hull.

Fun when it starts to look like a boat, ain't it? Don't worry about those frames... You're the only one who'll ever notice! How do you plan to finish her? Paint or bright? Keep us posted.

The outside will be navy blue and I am going to try to finish the interior bright, but we'll see. It may end up being bilge grey with some bright details.

Thanks for the feedback and yes it is getting to the fun part. Time to go attach the bottom.
