It's been some time since my last update.
But i have got quite a bit done.
As you can see from the pictures below, all the plywood is finished and sanded ready for mahogney.
There are two layers of 4mm ply on bottom and sides and one 6mm on deck. The second layer on the bottom where glued to the first with vacuum.
The boat will now be coverd with 3mm mahogney. Also this will be vacuum bagged.

And to the pictures:

Very nice work, and it looks like a lot of windows and light in the shop.

Very, very nice. Amazing.

I'm sorry to say that my attempt at this boat is not very close to that level of quality.

I will post some recent photos of my Rascal in the other thread that you replied to.

Regarding the turn fin, I do plan to through-bolt it. Given that it would be bedded in 4200 or 5200 and is attached by 8 bolts, I don't think that there is much chance of leaking (unless you hit something really, readly hard......). I'm not sure what Speedboy did w/ the turn fin on his Rascal but the advice that I've been given is that these are usually through-bolted. I got my fin from Maine Classics and when I asked about that he also told me to do it that way.

Best regards,
Dave

Thank's Dave, i'll think I'll do the same. Thru bolting is the way to go:)

I'll try and do that man;) hehe

Today i got the bottom and sides staind and varnished.
Not much gloss to brag about right now.
But the coulor seem's just about right.
