Galah homebuilding

[The Bigfella]

This is a fair size Blackbutt tree next to my house about 4' - 5' across at the base. Every year about this time the Rainbow Lorikeets, Rosellas (Crimson and Eastern) and Galahs come around to take a look and see if this hollow is suitable to make a nest. The hollow is about 20' up.

This Galah did a bit of digging - but apparently it won't be this year.
