Need a boat yard in Ft. Myers, FL

A friend that is brand new to wooden boats sent me an e-mail telling me that he bought a large CC and needs to have it hauled and the leaking repaired. The boat is currently in a marina in Ft. Myers, FL and the marina management told my friend that they want the boat moved.

Does anyone have any suggestions on yards North or South of the greater Ft. Myers area?

She came out on Saturday and is upon the hard at the sea wall. John is going to put her in the shed this afternoon.

It seems that more and more yards are kicking out wood boats, and fewer insurance companies want to fool with them. Makes me wonder if owning a wood boat means you must have your own parking place, and self insure. Or get a boat that is acceptable to society today.

Why dont we hear from all those Fla boat owners??? ummm????
