View Full Version : Where to find Sliding Glass parts?

Does anyone know where to get the stainless strips with the felt, (or something like felt), that fit on the end of the glass to semi-seal the wind out betweent the stationary and sliding window? I am missing a few and the ones that are there have a slightly deteriorated seal.

let me get this straight....you have some sort of window and need a SS 'u' channel to go around the perimeter with felt on the outer most edge to seal the window? check this out....excellent source for all kindas of random things. search for ur product. http://www.mcmaster.com/

I am just looking for the piece that slides over the stationary glass and keeps wind from get between the slider and the stationary where they overlap. I'll try to get a picture. I am know McMaster and Carr very well. I have not looked in there yet. Hoping for a known source. I will look though.
This is a 1968 Chris Craft Cavalier, standard sliding windows throughout.

My local window manufacturer has catalogues from all sorts of glazing product suppliers, try asking yours if there is anything in his catalogue.
