Hello, I have been a reader of Wooden Boat for a long time now. I am planning on building a Simmons Sea Skiff 18- I have just ordered the plans. I am going to use a composite bottom from Old Wharf Dory co. What would be a minimum of tools to do this project successfully? I don't have much woodworking experience, but I do know how to fiberglass. I have another question- WHere to get wood from? I live in Roanoke, VA and I don't think there are any marine lumber yards nearby. Another issue- Where to build it (no room at home, sshould I rent some space somewhere?)? Anyone have any advice for a novice?

Thanks,
Cameron ROberts
