Sabre rattling
Just hearing this pointed out is enough to get me focused
Iran points out the US troops in missle range...

I am aware of that Chuck...it is a worry that the "sides" feel they must point that out though...that's why it's called sabre rattling of courseThe doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power, and oppression, is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.

I suppose I could point out that, reduced to a personal level, I have achieved more by keeping opponents unsure of me than to show my "hole card"...I don't bluff because I can't afford to have a "bluff" called. I just stay quiet and make eye contact...(I think it has saved my neck a few times in a few different places including Olongapo and one robbery attempt when I ran a sport shop...)The doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power, and oppression, is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.

.......it brings the nuclear option much closer to being the only response available...We think we are living on a planet that is floating around the sun. It isn't true, there is no planet and there is no sun. There isn't anything, it's just pure consciousness and nothing more.

How about a full scale flare up of a Middle East civil war , Shia , Sunni and the US right in the middle .Dozens of competing factions ,an impenetrable web of loyalties ....well just like now but multiplied 10 times .
Bombing never solves a problem ,just look at Israel's recent attempt . It just opens a space to be filled by infantry.'' You ain't gonna learn what you don't want to know. ''
