Well while i am waiting for parts for my driveline I am keeping busy with other details like the rudder and paint.
The dotted lines on the rudder indicate where threaded rods go thru the boards.

Ahh, Donald, you have been busy after all. Looking good mate. Nice gleam to that roof.
It looks like there is a capping piece across the lower leading edge of the rudder. Are you sure it will want to stay there? I guess you are convinced that the threaded rods will provide sufficient reinforcement to keep the joint stable. Not doubting, just interested. (O well, yes, ok - I am doubting a tiny bit)

The rudder will get a coat of epoxy and "S" glass and then 6 oz cloth over that. Then 3 coats of resin. I am hoping it will be stong enough then.

Next is the gloss white on the cabin sides and coamings.
I wanted tan not brown but there was almond (they called it sandstone) OR brown (Easy poxy brand)
I tried mixing the almond(sandstone) and brown 50/50 and it looked awful.
We shall see.

Looking good there, Donald. Better put some sand in that deck paint, tho.
