The designer, Roger Long, is a forum member and a while back talked candidly about this and other designs. Some very nice ones for sure.

To edit the title of a thread -
Go to the thread, view the original post, and click the EDIT button.
In the edit window, click the ADVANCED button -- then the title can be changed.
edited to add -- Oops! This changes only the title in the first posting, not in the thread view. Darn.

Hey!
Thank you for commenting, and thanks for the tips!
The language is improving bit by bit!
Thorne, you are a walking(well writing at least as far as I know) ecyclopedia!
And by the way I still like your hat! Cute HeHeHe
By the way, the boat I started the thread about seems very much like the 22 Feet Paul Gartside cutter design does'nt it ?

Lotsa nice little cutters around. Here's one of my favourites. A Lyle Hess design built by license by Sam Morse. Not a gaff rig but very highly regarded and a proven offshore little ship. Six feet of headroom in the cabin.

Great site. We had the Corwith Cramer in our cove a couple times this summer. I was wondering the backround of the boat.
Thanks, Chris
