Namaki was a John Atkin 37 foot power boat design. I've finally completed restoration of this boat. Here's what she looked like in 1960. Photo and text is copied from another Atkin article because I can't figure out how to resize the Tiff scan that I have of the 8 x 10 launch photo. As soon as I can figure out how to do it I will post photos of her current paint job and cosmetic reworking. At the moment she is in Central Florida at Sanford Boat Works on the St. Johns River under a covered slip.
If anybody knows about any other versions of Namaki, please advise. This boat was custom built in New Hampshire and I don't know of any other versions made. She was repowered with a 80 hp Cummins diesel, and is now completely rewired, replumbed, etc. etc. Bowspirt was removed before I bought her, but I still have the sailing rig and the old rags of sails as patterns.
