It's always hard to figure out what to charge.

What's fresh local sweet corn going for in your area?

The pirate types are probably going to say "buck an ear".

$4.50 - $5/ doz at some farm stands in RI......

I initially flinched, but that's about 40 cents an ear for some outstanding corn, and probably less than the cost of a tomato or a candy bar or a little neck clam, etc.

I can grow my own tomatoes, gather clams, and don't eat candy, but would pay more for sweet summer corn (if I had to) !

$2.99/half doz at the local produce market
50 cents an ear at the local truck farm stand
Over in RI closer to the source I got some a couple weeks ago for $3 a dozen.

Getting late here.
