As Gone-zo wants to spend more time surveilling his family, Tony wants to spend more time lying to his. $And the rubber chicken circuit.$

Expect Larry Craig to resign later today.

I honestly believe that Snow is stepping down (as he said he would several weeks ago) because his cancer treatments aren't going as well as hoped.
I have no doubt that he did everything he could to obfuscate, mislead, whitewash, gaslight, deceive, and BS the truth. But I still wish him luck with his battle against cancer.

Nice answer Lefty , Tony sure looks bad , The ole rotor head got his partisan issues ahead of the man IMO, YMMV Leeg , CC , etc

At some point a person life should be more important than thier party of choice. Again YMMV

“Cancer has nothing to do with this decision.” he said, adding that his chemotherapy treatment has “held serve.” There are no new tumors and his cancer has not grown. “I ran outta money.”
He made it sound like he's as healthy as can be. So he's lying (again)?

BTW, word of his departure date comes on the last day of work for Karl Rove. Purely coincidence to be sure.

And Paul, if you find me so irritating, try the ignore feature.

Senator Warner won't run again.
Virginia Republican John Warner, one of his party's most prominent figures on defense issues, won't seek re-election to the U.S. Senate, boosting Democratic chances of capturing the seat next year.

"I'm quietly going to step aside and clear the way for others,'' Warner, 80, said at a press conference in Charlottesville. "I've done my best.''

Warner, a former secretary of the Navy and chairman of the Senate Armed Service Committee, was an early supporter of the Iraq war. This month, after a visit to Iraq, Warner called on President George W. Bush to begin withdrawing troops to show the Iraqi government that the U.S. commitment is not open-ended.

since Paul is soliciting opinions,,,I wish Tony was in the job instead of Ari Fliesher and Scott Mclellan as there delivery was very boring. Tony could have generated more resistance than Ari and Scott, those guys almost sucked energy out of the room.

We ought to hear from the distinguished Senator from Idaho in the next half hour.

I hope he stays though.

Why would you quit your job because you're outta money?

Osborne, he's gonna make a ton on the rubber chicken circuit. Hundred grand a pop for, for... showing up.

"Missed it by that much", as Maxwell Smart used to say. Craig resigned Saturday morning.

Odd that he gets thrown under the bus for pleading guilty to disorderly conduct while Ted Stevens stays on the Senate Appropriations Committee despite an FBI raid on his home and being the subject of a criminal bribery investigation. And whatshis name Vitter admits to soliciting a hooker and it's like nothing ever happened - continue the march.

Those reds are hell on disorderly conduct, yes they are.

Yeah, I forgot about the sacrifices these public servants are making.

So you take a liar who worked for a liar who headed a team of liars. People pay to come hear him tell them -- what?
