Anyone interested in a set of building molds for a 19' keel-C.B. daysailer? Came from my Block Island 19, which is similar to Herreshoff's Fish and Joel White's Flatfish, but is a foot shorter, lots lighter. Also, some patterns plus lines, offsets, sail plans (Marconi and gaff). Not selling -- just take them on long-term
loan and agree to let me have them back if I ever need them
E-mail me for details, photos.

I expect that there are a lot of us in the same situation, our shops cluttered with molds and patterns of boats we've built. I've got a half dozen sets.
Anybody have an empty barn?

WB magazine has just opened a new classified advertising section labeled "Molds For Sale ". I guess you can give molds away there too or lend them . I've thought of lending mine out by getting the round trip shipping cost up front (if any ) plus a deposit that at least covered cost of material in the molds .

I sent an e-mail about these molds, but never received a response. I am very interested in the design/molds and live but a ferry ride away from the "Block".

Saw Ray Hurley's note and replied but my outgoing e-mail service
seems to be delinquent. Let's talk by phone. And no, a Melonseed
and my BI 19 would not compete for attn. here. Someone wanting to
build one of those is not likely to be thinking of the other. Of course,
someone might want to build one of each!
