I have always liked the Seabird Yawl.
Might make it the last model i build.
Nice job Joel and good luck on launch day. I hope all goes smoothly.
Even if it does not so what, right?

Earlier (many years earlier, as a teen), the Seabird Yawl plans published in Popular Mechanics (or was it Popular Science?) captivated me completely.
Some Boat! And a fine-looking job you did, too!

Lookit you! Ready to go in. WOW!
You've been pretty busy, it would seem.
Congratulations and good luck with the launch. The boat looks great. I remember the last pics you posted and you had a looooong way to go.
Don't forget to post pictures.

Bravo! I am well aquainted with the Sea Bird yawls. It is a pleasure to see your fine vessel restored.
Nice job Joel, unfortunately I'm busy on Monday morning, otherwise I'd be there.

thanks for the positive comments fellas. im excited and slightly stressed at the same time.. but hey this is supposed to be fun right?!? worse case..she sinks. hah OK no worries.. now back to that "to do" list!!
Wondering how your launching went and if you have any pointers. I'm going to launch a '57 23' Centerboard sloop on Saturday. How many people helped out? How did you raise your mast?
