I am looking for a smaller bronze prop for my '64 Pearson
Vanguard. Yea, I know, it's fg, but I have checked all the usual places and can't find the prop. Hoping you can help. Lots of alum and SS around but no good bronze. The prop I need is 12 dia x 10 pitch, 3 blade with 1 inch boar, new or used. Thanks

Believe it or not, I've had good luck buying props on EBay. Good hunting!

Thanks for getting back to me regarding the prop. I have checked EBAY, several boatyards, manufacturers and consignment shops. I live in Westchester County, New York. Tried several places in Connecticut. Nobody has bronze. Found 1 guy had 2 old beat up props that looked close to the size I need. But the boss wasn't in. I am open to almost anything now. I need a 12x10 RH bronze prop with 1" bore. Thanks.

Michigan Wheel http://www.miwheel.com/
Use the dealer locator.
It found the two good prop shops in my area.

Thanks Jim,

Contacted Michigan Wheel. They referred me to a place in Old Saybrook. Emailed them. They got back to me but need more info.

Keep checking Ebay. Those antiquers come across boxes of props quite often. if not now maybe next week. If you are in a hurry then retail is an option.

There's a place here in Michigan called Earl's. It's on Jefferson and South River Rd. Like the sign says, 'This isn't a museum, everything's for sale'. I'll try to get you a phone number.
