Dudes:
April is finally here, and I have launched my boat. I know you all will probably tell me this was a bad idea, but I built it entirely out of Pergo laminate flooring. It may not be wood, but it looks like wood.

Funny, I've got that same laminate on my den floor. It looks good on the boat too. ;)

Let's see, is it April 1 in Australia, too?

Did you use that MDF for the transom like you were thinking about? :D
(Angwood, I was wondering hte same thing about Australia. ;) )

I made the transom from an old granite countertop.

Hey, cool take on the "instant boat" theme. Assuming you used prefinished flooring, that is. tongue.gif

Well... NOW we know where the stolen spotlight from the "How not to do it" thread wound up! ;)
(Don't feel bad, Shane... Last April 1, I posted a question as to what kind of paint would be "best" for my new teak decks. I received several HORRIFIED private messages before the light finally dawned... April Fool's - 2002 "What kind of paint for my teak deck?" Hey.....wait a minute....what the......I've seen that boat before somewhere. It's for sale ain't it? If you had built that boat, you'd never sell it until you died. I'm on to you. :D
