Well thanks to a forumite upstairs in one Jerry Bark I have now FINALLY after all these years gotten meself a fax number!! YOU BLOODY BEAUTY!!! :cool:

Just signed up to MyFax and am now able to fax anyone anywhere for the next 30 days gratis and then $10US thereafter for more faxes than Im likely to use

What Id really like to try with this myfax thing is to have someone online with a fax handy that I could zap one to just to see which part of that myfax site is telling me the truth

Ive tried twice now to send one through to Phil Bolger but think one page or the other is bullshyting me... The send fax page after hitting the send button tells "fax sent successfully" while the sent fax page tells me that it "failed invalid fax number"

But seems Im talking to meself and theres just too many other threads grabbing me mates attention at this stage... aaah well maybe someone will take pity on me at some later stage... maybe Ive become imbizible??? gawd... ah well at least I will be in fine company with Phil Chad and Fred :cool:

Good on yer Chuck!... mate I want to get in contact with Phil Bolger and rather than wait a month of bloody sundays for a snail mail letter to get there and him to reply I thought Id go through his maximum techno system... ala fax... otherwise Id simply email him but from what I understand he doesnt have an email and rarely has internet so its either snail mail or fax... Im tryin the fax route just now... but it would be good to know which part of this site is lying to me!!

The MyFax send fax page automatically adds the US +1 suffix to it but now Ive not only got 2 "failed invalid fax number" messages in the sent page but also 2 "failed fax due to invalid fax number" emails from Myfax as well

Somethings not right somewhere :confused:

Drop your pants and sit on the fax machine. Dial this number (123)-456-7890. It may take a long time or numerous attempts with you being so far away and all. I'll let you know if it comes through. Keep trying.

Just wait till the junk faxes start.....

The most useful thing with a fax these days is that if it rings at exactly the same time as the phone, you know that the call is an overseas autodialing call centre. That way you can pick up the phone part of the fax, wait for the human and tell them where to go before they even start in on their "you've won" pitch.
