I recently returned to my Haven project. I've finished nearly all the floors that are not broken by the centerboard trunk. I've left those for last as I am curious as to how close I need to fit those half floors to the vertical sides of the centerboard trunk -- any opinions?

It seems that the best way to go would be to set up the trunk with the fore and aft molds to get the alignment and then work my way our from the center. This seems like an awful lot of setting up and taking down though. I thought this much work would have deserved a little more discussion so I'm assuming this approach is too fastidious.

Here's some recent pictures:

Is this the haven 12 1/2. Dough dish. If it is I'm sure construction details exist for it. My inclination would be to fit them tight. If not I'm sure an 1/8 would do. Or mabey a little more 3/16?. If your really worried about it. The frame isn't going to lengthen. The trunk sides mabey a little bit. As to movement in planking. One would then have to address all fasteners along frames. Perhaps I'm not understanding the question properly. Can you post some pic of the area.

I opted for the tight fit. Here's photos of station 13 (the dead flat frame):
