I finally got the chines on using three laminations of 1/2" by 2 and 1/2" VG Doug Fir. It's a NIS 23 coming together in a 95 degree boat shed. At least the epoxy cures quick :D

I figure I'm 1.5 years into a 5 year project. A lot of the small stuff--rudder, rudder box, tiller, hatches--are done. I built that stuff first while i looked for a location to build the hull--never found one so i'm building her in my yard. turned out to be the smartest move I've made yet.

And no, adampet, i don't have enough clamps. your looking at 60, 2 inch clamps. it seems like i could always use 10 more!!

Joe, You can get nice strong spring clamps at Home Depot for .99 each, I have used over 60 on my stripper whitehall and they work ok, the jaw opening is about 2+" I found them adequate for most clamping.
