My brother is at the Meat Loaf concert at SPAC(Saratoga Performing Arts Center) and since he has free nights and weekends decided to share the show with us. Sound quality is poor but we're still gonna listen on speaker phone. Pretty cool. His loverly wife bought the tickets for him for father's day.

That fellow could(can?) belt it out. He doesn't have a great voice, and he isn't afraid to use it. But it's a good voice.

Speaking of voices, who tuned through "America's got Talent" the semi-finals the other night? There's a little blond gal, must be all of fifteen, who can really sing! Incredible stage presence for a complete amateur, and she's got talent. Even though one point of the show is making fun of people who are obvious bozos, it's kinda nice that it gives an opportunity to break molds and snag the spotlight for a few minutes, like this little blond gal did.

I also saw a kid, he looked like a young Burl Ives with a bad dresser, sing a Sting song that just blew me away. Just him and his guitar. Man that kid could sing! He's in the next round of play, and I'll probably tune in just hear what he does next.
