First, the "spare" "spare bedroom" at Chez Noyes:
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid225/pe2fa5b9a5a39be226b3e313b3db59a0d/e8abfd90.jpg
Many thanks to the proprietors of Chez Noyes for the hospitality Thursday night. :)
Second, a wonderful and informative (actually beyond wonderful and informative) caulking seminar.
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid225/p5765d29b0c61d984dd410f71b008d650/e8abf9ed.jpg
Note - Allan aka S/V Laura Ellen's trademark crutches in the right side of the photo. ;)
Then it was fun and games :D with a cake from Scot and Carl as a surprise for David and Claudia...
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid225/p02e437e3d42bebcda34023ba0bc30e1b/e8abf48b.jpg
The funniest part of all was that someone thought Carl was Dutch. :D :D
Claudia, David Gage (in front of Claudia), Speedboy and Bruce Hook as we hailed Speedboy and David Gage got to go for a ride.

Now while the rest of you were sashaying up and down the docks taking pretty pictures of the pretty boats :p , I was on my hands and knees checking out some important details...
http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid225/p95f6a129f5edacd55c79a5cab07fa8df/e8abeda3.jpg
Guess I should have warned you before that shot... sorry...
There are more pictures of the AirHead in the album (link at the end of post), but I cannot tell you how impressed I was. I will absolutely and positively have one on Sarah AND may God forgive me, I'm going to vent it through the existing Charlie Nobel.

I also got lots of pictures of the interiors of Arapaho and Enveloee. You cannot imagine how frustrating it's been trying to reassemble Sarah's interior. Anyone disassembling an interior take note - you do not need hundreds of pictures of the companionway and bulkheads and tops of things. You need pictures of the bottoms of things and the insides of things!
To-wit: Arapaho's starboard forward floor and cabinet base

Seriously folks, these are the kind of pictures you're going to want when you start to put things back together!
So back at Lefty's Saturday night, I walk through on my way to the cooler for another adult beverage and what do I spy???!!!

Thanks Phil! I beat David Gage and a couple of others back and made off with the folding rule.
By 10 or so, we had folks liquored up enough to open the WBF tattoo studio... :D

Julia on the left, Joe on the right and some poorly formed foot in the middle. Thanks Margo,
We also ran the Japanese characters on the ankle tattoos through Google and determined it said "I went to the WoodenBoat Show in Mystic and all I got was this lousy tattoo."
Kidding. What a night, what a show; thanks all.

You may want to check with the mfr. about venting it that way.

I had an elaborate work-around planned, but ultimately decided leave the cabin heater out. Whatever she had originally was removed and a Tiny Tot stove was put in its place. The stove is cracked and has seen better days, but I'll keep it and the original W/C head if I ever change my mind.

Wanna bet?! ;) It sure makes a lot of the mystery pieces a little less mysterious to see them in place, doesn't it? And to think I spent half of one whole day sorting through shoe boxes of pictures of pretty parts spread out on a concrete floor looking for pictures JUST LIKE THE ONES YOU JUST POSTED!!! :D

I have been placed under severe scrutiny. I am not allowed to post any pictures that were taken during any festivites for fear of shortening of lifespan (mine in particular)....I will post just this one though. For some unknown reason I am not sure what Joe was refering to...

If you read between the lines of Carl's press release, the WBS and Mystic Seaport may beome a permanent arrangement. That would mean that the EBS at Chez Lefty's could become an annual event.
Let me be the first to throw my full support behind this idea.

Ok just so I am clear..all the imaginary people are going to be at my house for the next couple of years for a weekend?
Just want to make sure I have the imaginary cleaners, cooks, etc...so that we are all well taken care of...
Truely...I love the idea that all of you feel so at home here...you know you can stop in any time...
I have put in the calander already....Overnight accomodations are first request, first reserved...
I will provide pics over the weekend so you have a true idea of what your accomodations will be....

Mike, what a fabulous movie. So great to have recorded all those people for the rest of the WBF to meet. Good on ya, man, and Walker loved his cameo!
I think next year may turn out to be huge group of people, after seeing the fun to be had and with a year to plan ahead...
Plus our boy Jamie will have had his shakedown cruises, so look for SV Airlie, and I think we'll bring up Dove...
