Hello everybody,
I want to buy a beatufull centreboard sloop 32' . She was built
in 1949 by Anderson (designer), Rigden & Perkins. Then i get some photos of the person who did lately some work. The yacht was out of the water for one year. He repared a few planks and ribs and put kit to On the photo i saw that the wood on the plank was black also some ribs. The is still makes a little water via the keel. That needs attention because there are some burst. So my question:

Run, boy, run!

Seriously, unless you are skilled, financed and tooled up, and are ready for a large restoration project, you might be better off with another boat in better condition.

Get a survey from an experienced wooden-boat marine surveyor, that should tell you most of what you need to know.
