Yesterday upon arriving home from work my daughters partner Daniel found their rottewieller Mission dead at the gate.

Mission was found by Dan and Yazmynn on one of their many outback trips from Kalgoorlie 3 years ago on the side of a dirt road in the middle of know where parched and all bones and near deaths door... through love and gentle pampering they bought her back from the brink... a beautifull dispostion a wonderful charector Mission cemented her place in all our hearts over the 3 years they had her.

About 1 year ago they gained a half dingo pup they called Tripper who became her son... then cause doggies do her lover... together they were Yaz and Dans children and together they joined in all the many journies and trips they did as a family
Mission its believed was "baited" either by a neighbor who particularily hates both dogs and has given Yaz and Dan a hard time over the last 8 months in their new home about the dogs... or by some sick mongrel excuse for a human... Mission was found by the front gate Tripper hiding under the trailer just staring and quivering at her... its unknown how long she lay there or how long it too for her to die.
To some Mission was just a dog... to Yaz and Dan she was their first child and the loss is just as painful for them

Losing a dog is painful experience... losing a dog because of some human mongrel (censored)'s animosity is near insupportable.
Condolences to them and to Tripper, too.
Shyte, wotta way to come home.

I wonder if someone who (like some here) thinks no dog should be allowed to wonder around without a rope around its neck judged this dog ready to die...maybe because he found a dog pile in his precious yard...

To kill someone's pet, if this is what happened, is inexcusable and can not be forgiven. They should be shot.
I'm sorry for this Dingo... I wish it did not happen to you and yours and I wish it didn't happen to anyone ever.
Phillip.. oh rings a bell.
I had a neighbor in NC... Kind of a strange guy. He came to my house one evening. to complain.
Now at the time, I hjad an old, very old, arthritic dog who wouldn't go anywhere unless food was involved.
Anytway, he shows up and tells me my dog pooped on his lawn. I was horrified. Told him I would come down and clean it up. He said not to bother and that he had already done so.
So, I apologized.
Then he looks at me with a straight face and says " Maybe, I shouldn't feed her..!"
DUH:rolleyes::rolleyes:

The bas#*rd who did that should be hanged from a tree and carefully disembowled so they can watch their own innards bake in the sun...
I am sorry for your family's loss.

Doggies. What can ya say? I love them, and I'm glad I don't have one at the moment. To do right by a dog takes a lot of work. If you get one of the big protection breeds, it's multiplied. People get them for all the wrong reasons. I'm very sorry to hear about 'Mission.' Inexcusable the way that played, apparently.
I would like to encourage people to be responsible. If you or your family isn't ready for a dog, don't get one. They are a whole lot more work than a cat, who basically takes care of itself. If you aren't willing to commit three hours a day to doggie care, walking, training, etc. DON'T take on a dog. They really do take that amount of work, especially at the beginning when they are young and foolish.
All that said, I miss my doggie.

I dunno...the old "up to their necks in a sandpile with honey on the head" seems appropriate....
A quiet reminder that their favorite treat could have been poisoned?
Sad day, indeed, Shane. Rest well, Mission, until it's time to play in the fields above.

So sorry Dingo, Dan and Yaz. Very, very sad.
We had to have Sam put down about 3 weeks ago now, and I can't believe how hard it was....I just cried and cried and cried. Don't get me going again...

If someone killed that dog, they deserve worse, far worse.

Sorry to hear than Shane.
I reckon it'd be fair to feed it back to them if you caught them.
It may have been a snake though?

Two and a half years ago (Christmas week) my beloved Bassett Hound was poisoned and died in the same way. The rumour in the neighborhood is that someone was trying to kill another dog and my Gus got to the ethylene glycol first. He didn't deserve to die like that.
No one will tell me who they think did it and I don't have a clue. I am not even sure that it was done on purpose, but I would like to look whoever did it in the eye and tell them how much pain they caused to my dog and my family.
Seems like half the world loves animals and go to great length to prove it. The other half could care less. The conflict between the two sides is as real as anything else in the world and can get ugly, but what the 'care less' people don't realize and never will is that many of us treat these animals as if they were family. Really and truly family.
I hope that when my time comes that he is there waiting for me. I think that he is.
