After waiting out a long Great Lakes winter in storage at the marina, my Buehler Jenny gets wet the first time. All went well. So far, everything's working.

Nice boat
Why is the water so brown?? Is it generally like that? Just around the marine's ?? From boat screws . Is it a lake??or the Big Muddy??

The marina is on a river and is swollen from heavy spring rains and brown from farm field runoff. It's not usually like that. Lake Erie is about a mile downstream.

Great Build!!
Wonderful job you did there!
Looks like a great cabin space inside there. Any photos of the interior?

What can i say.
Beautiful job ,congradulations.
Also i bet you inspired many others that came in contact with your project. By the way what was the name of your boat?

By the way what was the name of your boat?
Alaya. It's Sanskrit, meaning home or abode, as in Himalaya, home or abode of the snow. In Tibetian budhism, alaya is the center of all things. Offshore, your boat is definitely the center of everything.:D

May be some on the way. We went out yesterday in 15 to 20 kts. wind and a 4 to 5' Lake Erie chop. The only other boat around took some pics and said they'd email them. The boat takes the short period, steep sided waves great. No pounding and no spray on deck even when beating. Fun Fun! :D

I heartily agree with everyone else in saying "great job..."! Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Since I just joined this forum in June, I missed these pictures, and the interior ones as well, until these recent bumps anyway. So thanks to seanz for bringing this up again.
