Copper tubing in salt water environment ?

:) My question is , How well does copper tubing withstand the corrosive marine environment ? [ Plain copper tubing and fittings from the local hardware store] I'm thinking of using a union to connect the greaser tube on this Sabb rear bearing

I've got copper grease tubes on Grantala that are fine.
