Took the day,no guests, noise, distractions of any kind. Last time ,I took a buddy and he didn't catch a fish in the first 30 minutes and started napping in the front of my boat. Then he texted his wife to call him and when she did I hear, "we're about ready to get out of here".I knew the day was through even if I insisted on staying so I said to heck with it. Today was different. 11-15mph winds out of the NW on a strong incoming tide. Over 25 trout avg from 17-23" and one to 28". Biggest speckled trout I've ever caught.Let it live to fight another day but kept 2 of these 20". Here's one about 18-20". All caught on brown saltwater wobbler bucktail jig from Cabelas. Picture quality isn't the greatest. Didn't have it set right and couldn't see the view screen in the bright sun. I'm thinking sauted in butter, some salt/pepper over a mound of greeeits.
