Big day it was too. the prezzies this am, the bike ride with the kids( 2 of them anyway) and the big brunch complete with Eds maple syrup and pancakes.
A bit of a fang out to Riada in the old jag with the boy, to play around for a couple of hours and foursies with a few of our friends( which turned into an evening meal). A very good day thanks.

Thanks guys, It sort of goes on, I'm told the 'family' who were away down country , are all coming for dinner tonight (mon 23rd here now) so more bedlam. The nanna will bring her Fox terrier which will trip someone up and then she'll ( the nanna)terrorise the family with her piano playing, the sister will bring the new mini poodle which will bounce off the walls.. should be good.
Its been a great few days actually, visited Rainbow on friday, got some time to myself down at Riada on sat and then went to Thelma's welcome home in the afternoon, sunday was all on and today I have to go out west... I'm hoping I might be able to look in on another restoration and a new build thats happening.:D
You have to do things that make you happy when you get to my age because its too easy to think about next year.

A very high quality forumite, is John....but old, so old. He still seems to have his wits about him, though. I hope I'm as sharp as he is a year and a half from now, when I'm 49.
