Need help with shipping 15ft Rangley cross country

Hi guys I am hopping to get some advice. I have someone interested in buying my strip built Rangley. The problem I have is shipping the boat from Connecticut to California.The frieght companies are quoting around $2000.There must be other options. Any info or contacts will be greatley appreciated.

These people haul kayaks, canoes, small boats all over the country.
$300-$400. Much safer than freight companys.
