IVY got an engine

Those of you who know me know that I have been looking for a diesel for IVY for about two years know. several have fallen through, but I just sent the last check for a Volvo Penta MD11C.
SO this summer, there will be no excuses for being late while cruising like "it took me 3 days to cover 15 miles" or that "The wind wasn't blowing so I got stuck in st Michaels for an extra 4 days" or, my bosses favorite, "I was heading home and two tropical storms came by and I was stuck in Baltimore for an extra 3 days".

Thad...Congrats but remember, you have now limited the range of excuses which have obviously worked well in the past. :D

Very well!!!
god knows how many times I was supposed to beet up with people from Norfolk to sandy hook and missed them cause I was sailing with out an engine!!!!

Thad...heck even with an engine...I more often than not miss catching up with people...My brother has a clorox bottle and I always ask him for three days notice if he wants to meet up with me... :D
