View Full Version : Caulking Fees

Hopefully I can get a good guesstimate -- not looking for more than that. I have an old wood boat -- 2" PO Cedar planks, double-planked in places; she needs a complete recaulking. I have never had a caulk-able boat and am not sure how much to 'budget' for this.

What does cleaning out old caulk and putting new in cost, per foot? From there I can guesstimate how much 92' of the stuff is going to run me. I'm hoping that I learn how to do some of it myself and maybe attack some of the topsides, but I sure wouldn't trust me yet to do anything BWL.

Thanks for any advice,
