Mr. Smalser ? about your MAPP set up

Hi Bob, I think I may pick up the pieces needed to do the kind of work you were helping me with at the show and I wanted to know about the nozzle and hose you had.

The hose I imagine will be available at any old welding supply shop. Is there a particular nozzle size or flame pattern that you would use for simple brazing with MAPP? I have a standard propane soldering setup with two nozzles that screw into a brass arm & valve that then screws into the top of propane bottle, can those nozzles be used with the hose connection you had?

Get a MAPP Gas kit with hose, tip and bottle included. I don't think propane hoses and tips won't work.

Comparing all my various propane and Victor tips, the MAPP tip appears unique to MAPP, so buy a ready-made kit rather than parts.
