Way back....In the year that the King died, I was in my second season of Outfitters training camp, learning how to be a canoe guide. This was up in the wilds of Ontario/Quebec on a river that sometimes was the provincial border, and sometimes wasn't.
One of the main rules on these trips was "No mooching" IE: Don't be begging for food from other people.
Well this Argentine kid, Hendrick, clearly brought up in priviledge, just didn't understand that he wasn't entitled to more food than the rest of us (Or less work), and was forever snitching bits of food off of other peoples plates if they got up to get something or go pee, and grabbing snacks out of the wanigans if he thought no one was watching....
So one day one of the leaders sureptitiously picked up a dozen fresh moose turds, sprinkled them with powdered milk, and arranged them on a plate. He told everyone except Hendrick what they were..... After dinner he announced that since we'd made such good progress that week, he had a special treat for us...Desert! Swedish chocolates! Trouble is....There's 13 of us, and only a dozen chocolates.... So the plate gets passed. First guy picks a chocolate, and sets it on his plate. Second gy picks a chocolate and puts it on his plate. Hendrick grabs two chocolates, and quick as a flash jams them in his mouth and chomps down....
