What would it take to get you left coasters to attend the Portland boatbuilders show next week?

A bribe of Meyers, or a L-N low angle jack, discounted at the factory? ;)
I could give both of them pointers on caulking mallets.

I do believe that I can provide a nurse on call, or even accompanying nursing services. We have a hoveraround at your beckoning call.
Lodging available at my house. PM me (and that includes right wing boatbuilders from the SE, who stand up in their boats)

Mike, have your nurse haul your butt up to the finest kind blue state for the weekend. We'll expose you to a liberal dose of new wood boats. :)

After a quick scan of the pmda site, I think you'd prefer the Maine version...(there is usually a plastic show in town too, at the convention center, http://www.americasbestshows.com/Maine_Boat_Show.shtml
.. but I've never attended)
There is usually a tool seller, http://www.jpearsonantiques.com/ who had some NOS drew caulking irons the last few shows.
Besides, whats a 64 hour drive for a young guy like you? Bring the skidder. ;)

O&O PacNoWest in his *best* Skiller/Filson attire driving his skidder on the Interstates across country.
Them folk in Kansas and Ioway will think it's a new kind of combine.:D :D :D
PS: The 'Kernel' would be towing his nice shiney Airstream too.:D :D :D

I would really enjoy the trip back to the region. Unfortunately, I have been over exposed and have been placed in rehab for the time being by the nurse. She has placed me on supervised visitation everywhere I go now. :(

Comon Bon, you know that the drive to Maine is worth it. The only wooden boats or builders I ever saw at a Portland show were Nexus Marine, Schooner Creek and thay nice guy from Gig Harbor boatworks.
I am heading up to Main in Sept is there anything happening then. Actually gonna be drivng all over the USA this summer between California in June and Portland Main in Sept and hitting LA, TX, AL, FL and all points in between.
Looking forward to it.
I'll have to remember this for next year as a possible business/pleasure trip. I'm sure it would be fun.
