a little pure ammonia (4 Tablespoons) and disolve iodine crystals in it until it's the consistancy of peanut butter. Paint it over the offending part of the screen....let dry completely.....tap lightly with paper wad propelled by rubber band.....;)

If you can't delete it, just start another thread and tell people not to read the thread that you wanted to delete. Formites always do as they are told and are always respectful of other peoples wishes.

I made some ammonium tri-iodide once. Soaked a whole bunch of 1" x 1" squares cut from chromatography paper. Laid 'em out to dry on a lab bench. Went to pick up the first dry one with tweezers. The squeeze of the tweezers set the first one off with a BANG! Surprised, I dropped the tweezers on a couple more, they set all the other ones off. BANG!BANG!BANG!BANG!BANG!BANG!BANG!BANG!BANG!BANG! BANG!BANG!
Had to evacuate the room and ventilate it. Iodine fumes in a reddish cloud. Kids, don't let your mom know you're going to do this in the garage, O.K?

wellllllll...ya can make it in chemistry class, and sneak to just outside the halls of your favorite classroom and paint the floors......when the bell rings..........somewhat less lethal than the old hand grenade in the mayo jar trick....;)

Here, you could prolly go to Gitmo for thinking about reading it. Don't know about there.
