Thanks for reminding us! I meant to post about this too. It's supposed to be a great lunar eclipse--good viewing locations and timing.

I went out and looked here in Providence but it was too cloudy. Hope some of the rest of you got a good view...

Saw PISN's map and got excited and ran outside to check cloud cover. F!@#$n clouds! What a ripoff! I never get to see the really cool sh!t! Somebody post a pic of a really nice boat, QUICK!

It is just barely over, here in MA... a bit of the northeast corner still has a shadow, at 8:20PM EST.

Great show over here! 'Red moon rising' is an apt description; one of the best I've seen. As it peaked over the rolling bluffs to the east, the eclipse unfolded; unreal red/orange coloration. Sometimes it works out.

It was a beautiful sunny day here today. Just about dusk, as time for the eclipse neared, snow moved in over the mountains west of us. Maybe next time. :(

that was good, my daughter called and reminded me. When they were small I used to call them when they were at their moms when some event like that happened.
