Kelly Moore Tred Cote Question for Bob

Getting ready for paint under the deck on the skiff I am building so wonder about primer for this paint Bob. Some bare wood some epoxy coated ply. Thanks.

Any oil-based primer works. I use red lead on solid wood, and epoxy primer followed by Interlux or Kelly Moore oil-based primer atop the epoxy.

The Interlux costs threefold as much and doesn't gain you anything from what I can see.
