I figured it is time for an update. The past few weeks I’ve put back on 4 of the planks that I had off for bending the frames, still got 4 more of those planks to do. I got bored and a sore wrist from peening rivets, so I decided to do something different, deck beams. The carlins go from the fwd end of the cabin to the aft end of the cockpit, I will put in a bridge deck at cockpit seat level for added strength.

Ken, you look so tiny in that first picture! The boat is growing bigger. :D And looking fine, too.

Take a look at Ken's website (http://www.berrybrow.com/) .
There's lots of info on the boat and its history.

Ken,
Are you done with the floor timbers ? I’m looking at the photos and it seems like the largest spacing is four frames and then closer around the mast. Just curious.
What a boat...
One of these days I'm going to have to head down and take a look. That is quite a project!

That photo with me in it even made me declare "gosh that thing is big" , My son took the photos while standing on the transom frame and the stem, that camera angle really shows the size. When looking at it from ground level it looks smaller due to having it lowered into a pit for construction.
..
Centroid, the remaining floors are to be bronze straps, this will give me space for tanks, trim balast, wine, beer, etc. The fact that I haven't got the bronze yet is why I still have planks off, this gives me space for clamps when installing the bronze floors.
I've tried to use some of all building options, a combination of double sawn, grown and steam bent frames, wood and metal floors, outside balast with a fair bit of inside for trim, etc.
..
Incidently those photos were taken at night with (2) 100 watt work lights, the digital camera was set to the museum setting no flash. Those seem to be the best photos taken of the boat so far.
