Well, we just about got up to freezing today. Lots of meltwater from sun on the snow ...

Should be over freezing on the weekend, which will be good for the folks in the pond-hockey tournament they're holding on a small lake just outside town.

Winter's on its way out, but 'tain't Spring yet.

Sandhill cranes are flying over my place today headed north.
Cardinals and bluejays pairing up and starting to build nests.
Near 80 degrees today. Paddled yesterday for only the second time this month.
