There's a new book out
http://www.democracynow.org/article.pl?sid=06/10/19/1347246

Several European countries have investigations going, Italy and Spain prosecutions. The CIA operatives, with all their faults seem to be the meat in the sandwich. The European parliament is hot on the issue with resolutions and amendments flying. It's being equated with 'anti-Americanism' rather than criminal activity by domestic security services. I wonder if Nuremberg rules will be quoted again?

It's being equated with 'anti-Americanism' rather than criminal activity by domestic security services.

By whom?

I wonder if Nuremberg rules will be quoted again?

Hm . . . does that have to do with spreading democracy?

1. Nuremburg rules apply to Nazis but not to terrorists
2. Terrorists are against spreading democracy.

-- therefore,

3. Nazis are for spreading democracy.

sarcasm is worn thin on this topic...better to be more direct.

I agree sarcasm seems pitiful and weak in the context of Mr. Chimper Boy and the Unitary Executive Torture Authority. What do you suggest?

when I've worn out adjectives...I drop em altogether...it's a hard lesson....make that, it's a lesson.

"Anti -Americanism", as a way of deflecting criticism of the domestic ruling parties' inaction on the breaking of domestic law.
"Nuremberg rules" as regards personal responsibility for your (the operatives) own actions regardless of 'orders' if those orders are contrary to domestic law.
No sarcasm was intended by me, and I was not referring to any actions within the US or by US personnel. Rather as I said by other security services cooperating.
