Some have been wondering what's been happing on the boat. Well it has been that time in construction when hundreds of hours are spent on stuff that don't look like anything has been done, SWMBO thinks all I'm doing is sitting in the boat shed hammering stuff to make noise.
So here what's been happening on the outside of the hull, ALL of the planks are installed/reinstalled, ALL of the 3000+ rivets have been peened, ALL of the rivet and screw holes in the planking have been plugged, ALL of the outside of the hull has been faired and treated with Cuprinol, and finally for the outside ALL the planking seams have the cotton stuffed into them.
On the inside, most of the deck framing is done and I'm starting to scrape, sand, coat with preservative and varnish the inside of the hull.

The deck bronze straps are ready to be let into the beams once I finish fairing the top of the beams.

Here is a view showing the tie rods between the planking and the carlin. Note the lines on the deck beams for aligning the batten for fairing the top of the beams.
